About Change is the substance abuse division of The Genesis Therapy Center, which opened in July 2003. About Change is licensed by the Illinois Department of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse to provide outpatient and intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment. We also provide a full range of court ordered services including, DUI evaluations, DUI risk education and all levels of treatment and aftercare. About Change provides these services in accordance with best practices in substance abuse treatment and strives to meet each client at their stage of change.

About Change is staffed by a dedicated and skilled team of licensed clinical professional counselors and certified addiction counselors. We strive to treat our clients professionally and to make a positive impact in their lives regardless of the length of treatment. Based on the individualized needs of our clients, therapy is provided as an adjunct to treatment.

About Change accepts self-pay, most insurance and provides a sliding scale based on income because we believe that treatment should be accessible to everyone regardless of ability to pay.
