Families In Transition
These services are geared specifically for families undergoing a transition. Our therapists recognize the hardships that life events can bring to families. Whether due to separation, divorce, remarriage, stresses due to the loss of a loved one, relocation, loss of a job, or financial hardship these stresses can lead to behavioral and emotional issues in children and adolescents, thus creating parenting challenges. Our therapists look at the family system from a strength based perspective and with a developmental lens to help families recover.

 Art Therapy
Using art based therapy services, the youth is encouraged to use their creativity and imagery for self-expression, explore feelings, to tell their story, to problem solve, and share their struggle with others.

 Play Therapy
Through play, the language of children, we encourage self-expression and communication about the child's view of their world. Play is used for self-expression, to tell their story, to practice new skills and to build the parent/child relationship.

 Parent Coaching
Parent coaching can improve a parent's ability to understand and respond to the particular needs of their child, as well as help a parent see their child's individual strengths and differences. Through this process, the parent-child relationship is improved.
