Mary Ann is a full-time member of the GTC staff and has been part of our group for over two years. She currently holds her LCPC and will be applying for her license as a clinical psychologist in 2017. She firmly believes that personal growth results from flexibility, insight, action, and encouragement. She offers clients an open, safe space where they feel understood and validated while giving them the guidance they need to experience a higher level of consciousness, belonging, and control. She empowers clients to find their voice and to feel they can re-direct their focus and efforts into meeting goals that positively affect their whole well-being.
Mary Ann enjoys working with pre-teens, teenagers, and adults. She has worked extensively with individuals who have experienced mood irregularities, phase of life issues, low self esteem and confidence, and those recovering from painful or traumatic relationships. She utilizes a person-centered, solution-focused approach so that clients not only feel heard and cared for, but also have solutions they can readily use in life. She also incorporates mindfulness and dialectal behavior therapeutic tools to help clients develop and strengthen their mind-body relationship and confidence.
Mary Ann currently has openings in her practice at the Oak Lawn and La Grange sites. She is available at Oak Lawn on Tuesdays – Thursdays and at La Grange on Saturdays. She can be reached at (708) 535-7320 ext. 23.
